Micro-Channeling

Micro-channeling is a superior treatment for collagen remodeling and retexturing the skin. The benefits of building new collagen will naturally improve skin laxity and reduce the appearance of pore size, fine lines and wrinkles,  and leftover acne scar indentations.

The procedure is performed in a safe and precise manner with a single-use sterile needle head. The device punctures controlled micro-channels into the skin while infusing a pharmaceutical-grade growth factor serum to enhance tissue rejuvenation and collagen production.  Numbing cream is included to ensure client comfort.  A hydrating facial mask and LED light therapy is included in treatment. The session typically takes about 30-75 minutes, depending on the area(s) being treated. 

Your skin may appear red with mild swelling, as well as feel tight and sensitive to the touch. Although these symptoms may take 1-3 days to resolve completely, they will diminish significantly within a few hours after treatment. Most people feel comfortable going in public the same day of treatment. 

Your skin will regenerate and produce collagen and elastin throughout the next 4-6 weeks. 

Clinical studies prove that Micro-Channeling achieves better results with shorter recovery time than far more invasive & expensive procedures such as fractional lasers or deep chemical peels.

• Use protection when exposed to UV rays to avoid sun burns.
• Discontinue use of retinoids for 5-7 days before treatment.
• For skin prone to hyper pigmentation (typically darker skin tones) use a brightening serum or toner with natural tyrosinase inhibitors to avoid post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. 

• Do not apply products for at least 90 min after treatment.
• Discontinue use of retinoids for 5 days.
• Do not pick at flaking or peeling skin.
• Do not expose skin to sun without protection.
• Must wear SPF daily and reapply every 2 hours. Wearing a hat is highly recommended.
• Do not take anti-inflammatory medication for one week after treatment.
• Do not put ice on skin.
• Microneedling treatments should be spaced every 6 weeks for optimal results.

• Accutane: 2 years off
• Sunburn or unprotected sun exposure within 2 weeks of your treatment
• Pregnant or lactating
• Chemotherapy or radiation
• Serious medical condition: Heart condition, immunity disorder, etc.
• Uncontrolled Diabetes
• Scleroderma
• Hemophelia or vascular clotting problems
• Active bacterial or fungal infection
• History of keloid or hypertrophic scarring
• Chronic inflammatory skin diseases: Skin rashes, eczema, psoriasis, actinic keratosis, cold sore infection
• Anti-inflammaotry medications 3 days pre-treatment and 1 week post-treatment
• Presence of raised moles or warts on targeted area
• Botox and filler require 2 week waiting period after injection
• IPL/Laser procedures within 2 weeks of your microchanneling treatment
